This project explores the intersection of architecture, illustration, and visual storytelling, using the Jantar Mantar in Jaipur as the central motif. The goal was to create a minimal yet striking architectural illustration that captures the essence of the historic site while drawing inspiration from the bold, graphic aesthetic of Malika Favre.
To further elevate the concept, the illustration was envisioned as the visual identity for a Jaipur-themed cultural series, encompassing music, literature, and experiential events. The artwork was extended across various branded applications as well.

The design process began with a photograph taken during a trip to Jaipur, which was then deconstructed into a simplified, geometric composition that retains the architectural essence of Jantar Mantar while embracing a modern, artistic approach. The use of high-contrast colors and clean shapes ensured a timeless yet contemporary aesthetic.
The final result is a cohesive and immersive creative vision that not only pays tribute to Jaipur’s rich heritage but also illustrates through storytelling the monument’s relationship with time, light, and celestial movements.
